The brand was launched in 1895 when founder Cassel Goorin hit the streets of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with a horse-drawn cart full of hats and a passion for the craft of making them. The brands reputation for quality hats continued to spread across the country, with the first stores opening in 1949 and an expanded product range into fedoras, flat caps and truckers in the early 2000's.
